Pumpkin Patch

As promised, here is a much more exciting post, because today we went to the Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch in Portland with the ward playgroup.  The forecast said it was suppose to rain, so we had a lot of moms bail out on us, but there was still a good group that decided to get out the rain coats and boots and brave the weather.  And we were glad we did because it just barely sprinkled on us for the first 30 mins. and that was it!  It was a really cute pumpkin patch- the best part being the big tractor that pulled the hay ride.  Jackson made us go on it twice.  He LOVED it!  We did get pretty muddy, but it was worth it.  And of course we finished off the day with some yummy carmel apples (can't go to a pumpkin patch without getting one!).  Some of the moms were talking about another patch close by that does train rides, and since Jackson is obsessed with trains lately, I think we will go back there with John next Saturday since he will be done with the first CPA test after this Saturday.  So we will be looking forward to that!

How fun! And great pictures - I can't get over how much Jackson is growing, but I guess Ethan is doing the same. It's different when you live with them, though!

Did you get my email? Any interest in the Children's museum tomorrow?

Also... the sarcastic side of me wants to say, "Tough luck, Christi - that's what you get for moving to Vegas!!" Said, of course, with a smile! :0)

Ok, after reading Christi's blog today about her pumpkin patch experience, I totally take back my sarcastic comment!!
