Last Day of Kindergarten!

The weeks leading up to the end of school were nice and hot and we enjoyed lots of outdoor water play!

Jackson begged us to buzz his his hair for summer, and we caved.  He loved it.

Then naturally, the last day of school was dark and rainy.  We had plans to do some fun outdoor water games to celebrate, but it literally rained/poured the entire day.  Such a let down.  Jackson had a great school year though! He thoroughly loved school and thrived big time in class.  His teachers loved him, he was given the title of Most Cheerful for his class, and he made so. many. good friends.  I heard about them nonstop everyday after he'd bound off the bus.  He even cried after the last day because he didn't want school to end and to not see his buddies everyday anymore.

Jackson's buddy, Brayden got to spend the night and go with Jackson on the bus to their last day of school since his mom was busy having a baby the day before!

Sure am proud of our kindergarten graduate!

Morgan at 10 Months

I wrote this post back in June so I wouldn't forget everything as I caught up on events that happened before...

Life is crazy, but I just had to write down these thoughts before I forgot!

Morgan is so smart.  It is amazing how smart she is.  I don't know if it is a girl thing or what, but she talks and copies us like crazy.  I just can't believe all she can say/mimic at such a young age.  She can say Momma, Dadda, hi, boo, and her favorite, UH OH! after dropping something. She claps, she folds her arms for prayer and says her own version of "Amen" at the end.  She waves and says "hi!" to everyone, she stands up on everything and now lets go and balances for a few seconds while laughing at herself.  She recently learned to say no no no and shakes her head, the little stinker.  Also, just today though she learned to blow kisses, which is just the cutest thing ever. She puts her hand on her mouth and gives a huge, "Muah!"as she pushes her hand back out.  She is SO much fun to be around.

After so many difficult and grumpy months while her little belly/esophagus struggled to get things down, it means the world to have such a different, happy baby.  She's still not a great sleeper or eater since she hasn't entirely overcome her horrendous acid reflux, but she has come so so far.  She is a true joy to be around and lights up a room.  She flirts and interacts with anyone who comes her way.  Her brothers can't get enough of her and she mostly loves, copies and adores them, until they get too far into her face and she pushes them back and screams. Boy can that girl scream.  Girls are amazing the decimals they can reach. The boys though are constantly climbing into her bed when she wakes up from naps or in the morning and play with her and make her giggle like crazy.  She loves waiting for Jackson to get off the bus and always has a huge smile while pointing her finger at him as he comes bounding down the sidewalk.

She has a HUGE crush/obsession with her Daddy right now.  The moment he walks in the door and she hears his voice, her eyes get huge, she lights up, starts kicking her legs like crazy and yells, "ADAAD! DADDA!"  She has a good arm already and throws things like crazy.  She loves making messes.  Big messes.  And putting rocks, bark chips and grass in her mouth.  Being outside makes her happiest. She loves fresh air and being free to crawl around and roam in the sunshine. She has 2 cute little teeth on the bottom.  After struggling to nurse and keep food down for months and months, she now nurses a ton and without a problem, even though mommy is ready to call it quits after that awful battle.  Lucky for mommy though, she will FINALLY take a bottle every now and then!!

She has so many nicknames everyone has given her and most of them fit her well.  She is mostly knows around home as Moski (thanks to Uncle Colby) and to friends and family she's known as Baby Mo.  Others include Moski Jane, Mo Mo, Mosquito, Moskers and Mo-gan.

Cannot get enough of this little girl. It was a rough start for her.  I never thought we'd make it to one, yet here we are a month away and loving her everyday joy she brings.  WE LOVE YOU MORGAN JANE!!

Tball 2013

This year both boys got to play tball together on the same team.... AND, John was their coach!!  They loved that, and I absolutely loved watching them play together and have fun.  We had fabulously warm weather this year for Oregon and it was a fun season! Half the team were some of their friends and they made a lot of new friends too!

This kid and his ridiculously long legs.... we gotta get him into a basketball league
Mo had a fun time every game crawling around in the grass and clapping for the boys

and playing with her buddy, Everett

Bear and his best buddy, Asher (who didn't play, but his brother Brayden was on the team)

 Jackson, Baron, Cooper and Brayden

I have a HUGE crush on the coach.... pretty dang good looking if you ask me!

Memorial Day Weekend at the Coast

By the time Memorial Day Weekend came around this year, we had a lot of stressful things going on and needed to get away from the apartments for a few days.  Our best buddies the Jensens luckily were able to join us and we had an awesome and relaxing weekend away staying at a beach house in Lincoln City.  We got to do some hot tubbing, shopping, relaxing, walking on the beach and playing games.  It was just what we needed.

Crazy kids can't ever just all smile at once...

It's not a coast trip without a meal at Mo's!
 Love this Graham-a-lamma
