This past weekend John and Jackson got to go on their first Father's and Sons camp-out together, and they had a blast! Jackson came home with the biggest grin on his face wanting to tell me all about the tent, the fire, the marshmallows and all the fun they had! He even woke up this morning, hopped in our bed and said, "Go camping Daddy?" I was glad they got to have their boy bonding time doing what boys love to do best! We are looking forward to the ward camp out in July so that Bear and I can also get in on the fun! Here's a couple of pictures they managed to get in:

We finally took the plunge and took the boys for a test run overnight camping trip to the coast last year and they absolutely LOVED it. It definitely must be a boy thing. The outdoors. The dirt. The treats. Sounds like Jackson thought so too. :)

I can't believe Jackson is going to fathers and sons!!! He is such a big boy. What cute pics... miss him already. We are so excited to have campout with Jack and Deek for a week in August! I was thinking it would be fun to set up a little tent and see if they'll sleep in that...
Looks like fun! Did Jackson sleep ok in the tent? Sean and I have been thinking about camping this summer, though we never went by ourselves before Ethan was born. It'd be fun to go together sometime. Ethan is definitely turning into an outdoors kid. He was quite content just sitting in the dirt and playing last Saturday when we were out doing yardwork for hours!
