Memorial Weekend Camping & Coast

It's true... I went camping at 8 1/2 months pregnant.  So many people were giving me a hard time, but hey, this is what we do in the Graham family.  I also went when I was 8 months pregnant with Jackson, and you know what? Sleeping on an air mattress and being out in the open/something new was actually some of my best sleep I've had in months!  No kidding, I slept great!  We really wanted to get out since baby girl is coming right smack in the middle of summer, so we took advantage of the one Saturday we didn't have Tball or anything else and headed out to Cape Lookout Friday night and then drove up North to Seaside Saturday afternoon.  It was a blast.  Everyone back home said Friday night there was a thunderstorm and tons of rain.  We had perfect weather the entire time!

The boys had a ton of fun riding their scooters all around

Didn't get too many pictures, but the boys brought home tons of shells!  Cape Lookout is one of our favorite places to camp up on the Northwest Coast because the campsite is right on the beach.  The best part is waking up early and taking a nice family walk together on the beach, looking for shells and watching the waves.  It is so relaxing! The boys of course had a blast.... they are such amazing campers.  It's just about their favorite thing ever.  After smore's around the campfire at night, they usually ask to go to bed because they love being in the tent with their flashlights.  After a while of that, they both hunker down in their sleeping bags and don't make a peep until about 6am, when they first wake up and are so excited to be in a tent still!  Seeing their happy smiles and how much fun they have is why I will do things like go camping at 8 months pregnant.  As long as Baron doesn't split his head open, it's fun for the whole family!
 Baby Mo was there

Saturday afternoon we drove up to Seaside after a quick visit for some delicious ice cream at the Tillamook Factory and met our buddies The Jensen's for some each fun.  Unfortunately we didn't stay too long because it was pretty windy and cold, but that's the Oregon coast for you!

This kid is such a water fanatic

Daddy and Bear burying Jackson's legs.  Can I just point out how skinny John is?? He has now lost over 30 pounds.  I feel like for every pound I put on, he loses one!

Love these two
Can you tell he was getting pretty cold by the end?

The only bummer part of the weekend was that I had been getting over a cold/stuffy nose from earlier in the week and on the drive home Saturday night started to feel it move into my chest.  By Sunday morning I felt SO horrible and couldn't stop wheezing and coughing.  I went into urgent care and sure enough was told I had bronchitis.  Lovely.  Luckily once I got on the antibiotics and using and inhaler I started feeling better within just a day or so.  I definitely wouldn't recommend being super pregnant while having Bronchitis though.  Holy cow.  My abs were so sore from all the coughing and I can't even tell you how unpleasant it is to be coughing/sneezing all day long with a baby already sitting so low on your bladder.  I really hope to never repeat those few days again.

Your belly looks so little! So what does Mo stand for? Can't believe John had that much weight to lose, but he looks great! Excited to see you all in a couple months.
