Cutting down the Christmas Tree!

I am sure I have mentioned this in previous yeas, but I just absolutely love our Oregon tradition of going to a tree farm and cutting down our own Christmas tree.... so much fun! And the boys this year had a really good time too.  We went with some friends to this tree farm up in the mountains a little ways and it was gorgeous out there.... the have a perfect view of Mt. Hood! So jealous.  Anyways, after a short search around for the perfect tree, some chopping/sawing, some swinging on swings, some hot chocolate and hot apple cider drinking, and some great boy scout knot tying skills put to use, we had our tree securely attached to the top of the car and headed home to set it up and decorate! Love this Christmas tradition!

 Found the tree!

Helping Daddy chop down the tree

This picture was taken right into the sun... not a good idea.  None of us could even stand to look at the camera, haha

Carrying the tree back up to the car!

All wrapped and bound down!
