Easter Weekend in Glide

By the time Easter weekend came, we were all ready to get out of town, even if it was just for a few days.  It has been a very busy past few weeks, so it was nice to leave it all behind and drive out to the beautiful country to be with family for Easter.  I am so glad we went! Saturday was a beautiful day and we got to play outside all day long, dye eggs that night, cuddle up and watch a movie all together and eat lots of great food that Grandma Sue made for us! Sunday was another great day, even though the rain came back.  The boys were very excited to see what the Easter bunny had left them in their baskets and all the eggs he had hidden around the house.  We talked to them about the resurrection as well that morning and watched some of the movies on lds.org about it.... I love all the movies they have been putting up there lately.  Our boys really enjoy watching them and get a lot from them! Just the other day Jackson was talking about something from one of the videos from Christmas time they did on Christ's birth.  I was impressed he remembered it so well! Anyways, we headed into church that day where there were many great talks and lessons on Christ, and then came home and had a wonderful Easter dinner all together before we finally, very hesitantly, packed back up and headed home to Portland.  The boys cried as we said our goodbyes and got into the car, but quickly fell asleep as soon as we started to drive since it had been a very fun weekend of play! They sure love Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Heather and Glide!!

Preschool, Children's Museum, Snow & Preggo Belly

Finally transferred pictures from the camera onto the computer and we've got some good ones!  The past month has been pretty rainy outside, so we've had lots of fun inside, enjoyed some late March snow, another trip to the Children's Museum, and the last basketball and soccer classes for the boys.  Here's some of the action I caught on camera:

Here's Baron in preschool working on counting and circling/using a pencil

The boys working on one of the many Rainbow projects we did for "R" week

He sure loves lining things up

Jackson working on adding with two dice

ABC puzzle time

The Children's Museum:

Jackson building a campfire

Rocks!

We spent quite a while in the clay station this time around... the boys loved getting their hands dirty and trying to build different things

Jackson and I made a long neck dinosaur and turtle together!

Always the happy little Bear

We woke up late in March one morning, just a few days before spring break to the most snow we've seen here in Portland for a long time! The boys were SUPER excited to go play in it for a little while before it all melted by the end of the day.  They had a great snowball fight!

Don't expect many pregnant pictures... I pretty much look worn out and well, pregnant, all the time now, so not really feeling the camera love.  Nevertheless, here's a 25 weeks pregnant picture, courtesy of my in house photographer, Jackson.

Next post will be some fun Easter pictures from our quick, but fun trip down to Glide!
