We found out!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and it went great!  The technician asked us before we started if we wanted to find out what it was and of course we said yes.  What we weren't expecting was that as soon as she put the ultra sound thing (not sure what all thats called) on my stomach, she was like well there it is!  It's  definitely a boy!!!  Yep, that's right, It's a Boy!!!  Apparently he was just dying to show off and let us know Jackson was going to have a brother!  We are soooooooo excited!! This will make 4 grandsons in a row with no girls for my parents!  Christmas in about 2 years is going to be crazy at the Baron home with tons of crazy little boys running all over! It's a good thing they have tons of cars and balls and a hoop!  On the graham side there are going to be 3 girls and 2 boys (and we have the only boys! Everyone else has girls!)  I am glad Jack won't be the only boy on that side now.

Anyways, the rest of the ultrasound went really well.  He is nice and healthy- everything looked great with no problems or concerns!  He was very cooperative and let us get some great pictures (unlike Jackson who was too busy doing flips to let us see his face).  He wasn't sucking his thumb but he kept his hand right by his face the whole time and he kept opening and closing his mouth like he was either eating or trying to say hi :).  It was so much fun to see him and definitely made it more real that we are really having another baby!

Sea World!!!

We had a blast yesterday at Sea World! Jackson absolutely loved seeing all the animals and he especially loved all the shows. The night time Shamu show was the best one by far- very entertaining and lots of fun. Jackson kept calling everything fishies- shamu, the dolphines, actual fish, the sharks, the baluga whales-basically anything that lives in water is a fishy. Today he woke up and the first thing he wanted to do was watch Nemo, and when I gave him a bath he played with all his little fishies we got him from Sea world for half an hour! He was making his own little shamu and dolphine show. :) Even though our day at Sea World ended with the stroller getting stollen (can you believe that!!) and Jackson's fever that he's had on and off coming back, we had a fun day and I am glad we went!

We sat pretty close in the shamu show and luckily we didn't get wet!
Just waiting for a show to start

Carousel Rides and Things to Look Forward to.....

We went down to the Irvine Spectrum (this really nice outdoor mall) the other night and Jackson got to ride the carousel there which he loved! He screamed and begged to go again and again, but with each ride being $2, I had to put a limit on it! We went again today when we met my Grandma there for lunch and he once again loved it! They also have this little fountain area that shoots up water, and since it was a hot day we let the boys go for it (Jackson and my sister, Shannon's super cute little boy, Deacon). They both got super wet and had tons of fun! Here's a funny little video from that- and sorry about the moving around in it. I am still learning how to be a good video taker.

Other than that I thought I'd post about some exciting things that I am currently looking forward to:

The Beach tomorrow

Sea World on Saturday!!

Seeing my cousins next week!

Finally going home to my hubbie that I miss a ton next Saturday (7/26)

and having our ultrasound Monday, the 28th!

What are all the bets- Boy or Girl???

I am kind of thinking its a boy, but you can never be too sure!
That picture's not the best, but it's of these 2 cute outfits my grandma bought for the new baby today- she was too excited to wait to see if it was a boy or girl so she bought one of each!

Jack at the Beach

Ever since Jackson absolutely loved the coast in Oregon when we went way back in March I have been excited to take him to a Souther California beach in the summer since it would be the same stuff but with much warmer water. So, just the other day we went out to Crescent and Jack was being so funny about it! He was happy to be there and absolutely loved watching the waves, especially people surfing, body boarding or boogie boarding, and he loved loved watching all the "big jets!" -as he calls airplanes or helicopters- fly by. But, he absolutely hated the sand this time! He would freak out when it touched him and try to wipe it off right away! He wouldn't even stand on it, walk on it or anything! He would splash in the water with Grandma and Grandpa and yell excitedly every time a big wave crashed, but you had to carry him back to his chair because he literally would not lower his feet to stand on the sand! So random- but we still had a fun time, and as shown in the pictures, "Papa" and Uncle Colby made Jackson his own little sand chair near the shore which he loved sitting on while watching the waves and washing the sand off over and over again in his little bucket of water. Such a goofy kid. Gotta love him though!

notice how he is smiling in this next picture, but holding out his hands because he got that icky sand on them

Las Vegas

We spent last weekend in Las Vegas with John's family and it was a ton of fun! Nick & Christi (John's older brother & wife) live there and they just had their 2nd baby girl, so went to go meet the new little one and to be there for the baby blessing. Once again, the have created a perfect little baby girl! She is just soooo cute and such a good little baby! Her name is Alice Parker Graham. I wish I had taken a picture of her with our camera, but i forgot, so to see pictures of the little cutie, you'll have to go to their blog!
But besides cuddling with Baby Alice, we did some really neat things. We swam a lot of course since it was always well over 100 there, but we also got to go to Red Rock Canyon, which was gorgeous, hang out with family, go to In'n'out, and we went to this really fun place called the Silverton. It's a resort place that's off the strip (which is nice not to have to battle the crowds there), that has 1.)the best buffet that was soooo yummy, especially the desserts 2.)a huge floor to wall fish tank with tons of big fish and even small sharks-and after 7:30 there's a diver that feeds the fish, and then after that these girls dressed as mermaids swim around and wave at all the kids- Jackson and Reagan (Nick & Christi's 1st daughter that's 2) loved that! AND 3. they have a huge Bass Pro shop there with real life big animals that were stuffed (we're talking a real giraffe, lions, a moose, bears, etc.), in-door waterfalls, shooting games, all kinds of boats they let you climb all over, tons of fishing stuff (which made John very happy), and just lots of neat stuff to see. It was one of the neatest things I have seen in Vegas and we definitely had a ton of fun that night! We got some great pictures from there as well as from Red Rock, so I will post those.

John sadly had to fly back to Portland to start his job- but his first couple of days went really well and he will leave on Sunday for his training in Virginia. Jackson and I are now in Orange, CA at my parents place now and he is having sooo much fun because they are just spoiling him like crazy! Well, that's all for now with the update! We will post again when we do something else exciting!

P-Town

We are officially no longer Eugenians, and also no longer managers! Wahoo! Today was the craziest day.  We packed up all our stuff, cleaned the apartment, handed over the master keys to the complex as well as all the other managing stuff, and moved everything to a storage unit up here in Portland.  Then, tomorrow we fly out to Vegas to go see Nick and Christi's new little girl.  After that, John flies home Monday and starts work on Tuesday in Portland and then goes to a 2 week training in Virginia on Sunday.  Jackson and I fly out of Vegas on Tuesday and go to Southern Cali. to visit my family for 2 1/2 weeks.  So as you can see we are going to have a very fun and crazy next few weeks! And we won't be around here much for the next few weeks, but we are really excited to be in a new city and in such a unique, pretty and big city.  We are looking forward to exploring and finding out what P-Town is all about- maybe then my people will actually come visit us!!  Anyways, I am sure that once we start having lots of fun on our little vacation, I will have much more excited posts and with lots of pictures!
